Q11: The former several cues of my SuperbFire / MB fired and then the module stopped working when it was set to work in  Interval Firing Mode / Program Firing Mode, after that I checked the system and found everything was normal, what’s the problem?

Answers:

It is due to that the power is not powerful enough to fire multiple cues in short time. You can use more powerful battery to make the show.

Q12: What are OOK and FSK? What is the difference between them?

Answers:

OOK and FSK are RF Modulation types. To make it easier to understand, you can think them as FM radio and AM radio: FSK=FM, OOK=AM.

Just like a FM radio performs better than a AM radio, FSK is far better than OOK in steady, antijam features, and FSK systems respond more sensitive.

Q13: FCC / CE issue.

Answers:

FCC is required in the USA and CE is required in Europe. Other countries may need other certificates, but RFRemotech firing systems are not other certified at present.

Q14: The remote range 100m / 200m is inadequate, can I get longer range?

Answers:

FCC and CE have strict limitation in the transmitting power and harmonic waves. Our existing OOK (ASK) units can work out 100m range and FSK units can work out 200m under the rules. If you need longer range transmitters, there are also other types of transmitters selectable, such as TCL2000-12LN, its range is 2000m. And FSK transmitters can be modified to have longer range as well, then the units will not be FCC / CE compliant, and may violate local rules.

Q15: Why did my MS12Q not fire?

Answers:

Following are the probabilities:

1. The batteries you used are too weak and can't flow adequate current to fire the igniters. You can use quality batteries 6x AA.
2. You might connect serval igniter in series connection or parallel connection, the connection requires higher voltage and heavier current. You can use a SLA battery with more Ah.

Q16: Can I use the systems outside in winter?

Answers:

The existing units can work at from -10°C to 50°C. If outdoor temperature is too low, some components may not work normally.
We are working on an advanced firing system which will work at lower temperature.

Q17:  Why did my 7th version AlphaFire module RF1A2 fail to fire igniters and then there was no LOW POWER indication?

Answers:

1x Alkaline battery 6LR61 9V is required, so that it can flow adequate amperes to fire igniters in a moment. Normally Zinc-C batttery is not recommended, for it can only flow a weak current at a very short time and the current can't fire igniters.

Q18: Why my large transmitter TCL2000-12LN didn't work sometimes?

Answers:

Since the large transmitters TCL2000-12LN / TCL2000-12LNX / TCL3000-4LN /  TCL2000-12 etc. are too powerful and the transmitting rate is too high, the signals are distorted in a certain range.  Normally the antenna of the transmitters needs to be extended and the receivers or modules should be placed 0.5m away from the transmitters during using, so that the transmitting unit and receiver unit can work normally.

Q19: Are the transmitters & firing modules of different systems compatible with each other? For example, can I use the transmitter TCL2000-12LN (of the AlphaFire) to control the firing module RF1K (of the AlphaFire Pro)?

Answers:

Currently we have systems with 2 different modulations: OOK and FSK. OOK transmitters / remotes work with OOK firing modules (Receivers) and FSK transmitters /  remotes work with FSK firing modules (receivers).  Transmitter TCL2000-12LN (of the AlphaFire) is a OOK type, can not work with FSK firing module RF1K (of the AlphaFire Pro),

Q20: Does the MB32Q come with the SLA battery as in the picture?

Answers:

It doesn't come with SLA battery. All the parts it contains are listed in the description.
